A city of art and history, Arles is one of the rare destinations which can boast eight monuments inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Surrounded by two regional parks ( the Alpilles and the Camargue), Arles  is blessed with a rich and exceptional natural environment.

Your event taking place between Provence and the Camargue

A town on a human scale where the idea of something being “close at hand” takes on its real meaning. Geographical proximity (moving about town  in an urban or peri-urban environment is extremely simple), human proximity (the warm-hearted talkativeness of the inhabitants of the south no longer needs mention…) and the proximity of an exceptional natural habitat (the Camargue, the Alpilles …).

A luminous town nestling in the heart of Provence, Arles remains the ideal destination for your event

A city of art and history, Arles possesses a unique heritage (eight monuments are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list), a lasting reminder of a rich past. However, Arles is not just living in the past thanks to the must-see Rencontres d’Arles photography festival as well as the SUPINFOCOM school and the future construction of the Frank GEHRY tower. The ancient Arelate (as Arles was formerly known) is also the perfect prelude and starting point to discover the mysterious Carmargue and its unique landscapes (Les Saintes Maries de la Mer …) as well as the Alpilles massif and its typical villages (Fontvieille, Les Baux de Provence, Saint Rémy de Provence …). Here you’ll sense the sweet life which makes Provence one of the most prized destinations in the world.

From the Spanish-feel Féria to the Costumes Fair with its shimmering colours, festivals and traditions have chosen their kingdom, elegantly represented by her majesty the elected queen of Arles. Vincent van Gogh, Picasso or in other fields, Christian Lacroix or the Gypsy Kings, Arles has always lured artists and inspired their work to reach new heights.
