LINKEUS awards 7 new ISO 20121-certified structures and presents the European BEFuture project
On June 6 at Castel Bay (Hyères-les-Palmiers), in the presence of François de Canson, vice-president of the Région Sud and president of the CRT Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Fabrice Lavergne, LINKEUS president and president of Pavillon Traiteur, and Maxime Tissot, LINKEUS executive vice-president and general manager of the Marseille Office de Tourisme, des Loisirs & des Congrès, the LINKEUS general meeting was an opportunity to take stock of the year 2023.
On this occasion, 7 members supported by LINKEUS (ISO 20121 certification training and certification audit in three years) were congratulated on their ISO 20121 certification with the presentation of a trophy: Ikebana (Valbonne Sophia-Antipolis), Made In Côte d’Azur (Cannes), Pavillon Traiteur (Mouans-Sartoux), Raising Stones Events (Biot), MCO Congrès (Marseille), Oleis Travel Events (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence), and World Trade Center Marseille Provence (Marseille).
The meeting was also an opportunity to present LINKEUS’ involvement in the European BEFuture project. LINKEUS has been selected as the French referent in the BEFuture European project consortium, on the recommendation of its national partners, Atout France and Unimev.
This innovative consortium covers 6 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain). The Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) is piloting the project, which has 7 other partners: Visit Flanders (TVL), the Association of Event Organizers (VDVO) in Germany, B.LINK and LINKEUS, NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (EFTI) and the University of Milan-Bicocca (UNIMIB) and the communications agency TIPIK.
Scheduled to run from September 2023 to April 2026, BEFuture aims to help boost the competitiveness of the European corporate events sector and make Europe a global benchmark for innovation, technology and sustainability.
