LINKEUS Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Convention Bureau launches the Ethical and Responsible Charter for the Event Industry
Together, and through this Charter, the member companies of LINKEUS Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Convention Bureau aim to defend the event industry value chain, establish best practices in invitations to tender, and promote their commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
The aim is to build a lasting, winning and virtuous relationship with advertisers (event organizers) and specifiers, based on responsibility and transparency, particularly in calls for tender.
Since April 2022, 160 member companies have signed up to an ethical and responsible charter, the first national initiative on a regional scale, and a tool for strategic development and competitiveness. The charter is valid for a renewable 24-month period. Each company will provide a report on its actions over a two-year period.
The objectives of the charter are to
- Highlight the professionalism and commitments of event industry players in the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region;
- Develop responsible and environmentally-friendly practices;
- Develop a virtuous approach to invitations to tender between service providers and clients/advertisers, with the shared aim of ensuring the success of the event, based on customer and participant satisfaction;
- Encourage and support initial and ongoing training for current and future players.
